Your journey begins with a scenic 1.5-hour drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, the trek’s starting point. From here, hike through terraced fields and small villages to reach the beautiful Gurung village of Ghandruk, known for its traditional culture and panoramic views of Machhapuchhre and Annapurna South.
Trek to Chhomrong (2,170m)
After breakfast, descend through a forest trail and cross the Kimrong Khola. Ascend gradually to Chhomrong, a gateway village to the Annapurna Sanctuary, offering magnificent views and charming tea houses.
Trek to Dovan (2,600m)
Descend via a stone staircase and cross the Chhomrong Khola. The trail passes through lush forests of bamboo and rhododendron as you climb toward Dovan. Expect peace and quiet in this tranquil forested area.
